20168: Time out issues with posting Transactions

IMPORTANT:  Due to an issue of growing Transactions table, there is now a Transaction Archiving process that will be run with each release.  This process moves transactions more than 2 years old to a TransactionArchive Table in TBSHistory. 

Please note, these transactions will no longer be visible on the Billing Info tab.  A new FlexQL Report has been created under the Customer Report Group to allow users to view Archive Transactions.

This process will create a balance forward for the Archived Transactions.  A account could have up to 4 balance forward transactions.  One for each TransType (Payment, cRedit, Charge, Debit).  This balance forward transaction is simply the sum of all records of the same transtype for the account.



21017: Bill Setup Report Options not displaying

The Bill Options page has been updated to show the correct reports flags based on the Invoice Version used by your company.  Precision currently supports 3 invoice versions:
• Precision Invoice Version 1 (Original Invoice)
• Precision Invoice Version 2 (New Billing Engine Invoice)
• XML Invoice Output (Output to third party printers)

21206: TBS Help System launch

Precision is proud to announce the launch of a new integrated TBS Help system.  This new system will provide access to key information regarding features in TBS, Frequently Asked Questions as well as the latest TBS and CABs system release notes.

Access to the system can be gained using the Admin menu - FAQs or Troubleshooting guide links.  We will also begin adding "Help" links throughout the TBS system in areas where Help documentation is available.  The complete User Guide/Manual content will be phased into the searchable help system over the next few months.

In addition, Precision has launched a Customer End User Help system that currently contains a Troubleshooting guide when users have issues logging into the system. Client Customers will now see a "Help with Browser Settings" link on the Login page that will take them to the help system.

We will be working hard on new content and information to be added to the system.  We welcome any feedback on additional areas that you would like to see added/expanded on.
 

20951: Commission Front end changes

A new option is available within TBS to maintain Agent commission percentage overrides.  These Account overrides can be managed via the "Set Overrides" button available from the Master Agent Admin screen and also from the Tasks - Commissions menu.

Please note - this option may show in TBS, but may not be turned on as part of your default commission process.  Please be sure to contact Precision regarding this feature for information on setup effort.

20883: Commission Flag On Cable and Internet Plans

A Commission Flag has been added to the Cable and Internet Plans.  This is a Yes / No flag and is used to indicate if the charge can be commissioned (Yes) or not commissioned (No). 

The Commission Flag already existed on the Master Usocs.

21117: Accounting Reports:  Filter appearance

In an effort to save screen real estate, some changes were made to the filter options on the AR and Transaction reports. 

For the AR report - all filters are initially hidden and clicking the Run Report button will run the AR as of the current day.

For the Transaction report, the only initial filters shown are for BatchID and/or Start/End dates. 

On both reports, there is now a "Show Filters" link that will turn on / off the additional checkboxes if desired.  Note - even if the filters are "collapsed/hidden", if any items are selected, the filtering will still apply.

21119: Accounting Reports: Row Height & Width on the grid

Feedback on the Accounting reports Row & Height stemmed attempts as reducing the amount of extra space in the grid.

A lot of the space that is taken up is the filtering column row. There is now a button that enables the user to turn on and off the Filtering functionality on the grid. This will save space.

As a reminder, column order and visibility of columns can now be easily changed by contacting support.

21123: Accounting Reports: Column Filter not holding value

The column filter now holds the value and shows it to the user. The filter will be cleared when you run the report again or disable filtering.

16776: sDSL Lookup Table

For clients that show DSL rates within the Check Rates tool, the grid will now show a message to "Contact Agent Support" if DSL Service exists in the NPANXX area. 

15579: Add Local State and RBOC Fields to grid

The Local State and RBOC fields have been added to the Local Product Grid and the Voice Services Product Grid for display / information purposes.

18581: Internet Plans - Add Domain Name field

Added Domain Name as an additional field on Internet Plans.

19774: Delete Expired Cards Method

Very Important: Due to PCI Compliance, with every release AFTER August 1st, the system will delete expired cards.  The default length of expiration is 6 months.

21126: TroubleShooting Guide Updates

An additional troubleshooting step was added to the Help documentation.

Reset Internet Explorer Defaults. NOTE: Do this only if you still cannot log into the system after trying steps 1-5 above.

--Select Tools
--Select Internet Options from the drop down menu
--Select the Advanced Tab
--Click the Reset button. This will reset all settings to the default condition.

21036: DID Free Minutes on Local

For VoIP Clients, the Local Screen now will show an Inbound Rates and DID Free Minutes fields.  These fields are used to set the Inbound Rate Plan and the number of free inbound minutes for this line. 

Note:  Please check with the billing team prior to using this field.

18206: Internet:  Add new fields

The following fields have been added to the Internet Product:
Gateway
Subnet Mask
# of IP addresses
Assigned IP Address Range
Customer usable IP Address Range
Contact Phone

19731: Transaction screen - two decimals, but Invoice Credit uses four

Transaction Posting page now allows between 0 and 2 decimal places.  Choosing Invoice Credits populates the Invoice DropDownList with 2 decimal invoice amounts which are then used to populate the Amount field when an invoice is selected.

20572: Post Billing error messages - Important

A change was made to the Billing Control Panel -> Post Billing -> Account Updates process regarding updates to Fixed Charges.

Rule for updating post billing fields are:

(Warnings) - Fixed Charges: If a fixed charge record with the matching key cannot be found in TBS, it now logs an info record and does not fail.

The system displays a Warning Message indicating how many records were skipped.

(Errors) - All Other Tables (Dedicated, USOC's, Internet, Cable, Misc Charges): If a record with the matching key cannot be found in TBS, it now logs a more explicit error message. 

The system displays an Error Message and Post Billing Account Update process will Fail.

20812: Wireless First/Last Billing dates not being set

Wireless First/Last Billing Dates now set on post billing account updates.

20967: Qty USOC issue - when quantity =1 or 0, clears the override

Bug Fix: The behavior on the Usoc Detail screen has been changed to match the Local Screen.  Changing the Qty to 0 or 1 no longer clears the override fields. 

Also, like on the local screen, entering a qty of 0 will set the qty to 1.  A 0 qty is not allowed.

20983: Calendar Control hiding behind fixed area

Bug: The Calendar control on the new transaction report is no longer hidden on small resolutions.

21021: Email Queue Insertion Problem

A problem with emails being inserted to the EmailQueue table while an emailing process was running have been fixed.

20913: Export all Records on AR Report visible bug

Bug:  The AR Report was showing the "Export All" option even when less than 1000 rows were returned.  This was redundant since the Export Grid option will export all grid rows when <=1000

20948: CustomersKey and AmountOfLastBill showing on ARReport

Customerskey and AmountofLastBill were showing in the AR Report.  These were not intended to be shown to the client and have been removed.

Please note - the fields shown/hidden are customizable now so if you would like these fields turned back on, please just contact support.

21141: Flex: Deleted Embedded Controls still showing as parameters

Fixed a bug where the DeletedFlag was not checked on parameters when rendering the reports.

20651: Unable to add rate code to toll free

Fixed a bug where the state was updating on the screen but not on the LongDistance table when the BTN was changed.

20594: Email Billing Bugs

For clients using the new billing system:

1) Email addresses delimited by spaces, commas, or semicolons now work in the new email queue functionality.
2) Bugs in logging to the EmailLog table have been fixed.

20378: Daily Recurring Problem

We used to set the Recurring_Last_Automatic_Run_Date when we started the run. We now set it at the end of the run if the number of failed transactions doesn't equal the total number of transactions.

20031: Make Name Required on the T4Users Screen

Made Name Required on the T4Users Screen.

18471: Error when doing transaction posting for writeoffs

When adding multiple transactions, the transaction type defaults back to payments; the transaction classifications do now as well.  Also, all clients are given a transaction classification of 801 (Payment on Write Off Account) if they do not have one.

21204: Bug: Override amount and description being updated when a Master Usoc price is changed

The override amount and override description are no longer being updated when a Master Usoc price is changed.
